At just 28, Chioma Ukpabi is transforming Nigeria’s vocational education landscape through
her edtech venture, Skill Up With Kahdsole (SUWK). The visionary and empathetic founder
from Abia State saw two pressing issues – youth unemployment and poor access to quality
vocational training – and created an innovative solution. Working alongside her co-founder
Kelvin Steve, she has helped over 2,800 young people gain practical skills in trades like
carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, with more than 900 securing jobs through SUWK’s
placement platform. Her impactful work has earned multiple accolades and grants.
