In a country striving to limit its global carbon footprint, 30-year-old Thara Aishat Atta is gearing up to play her part with her startup, High Collar Sustainable Solutions Limited. The year-old startup created an engineering blueprint designed to convert chicken dung into biogas and then into bio-methane— a cost-effective, environmentally viable option for electricity production. Thara’s passion for making a social impact and reducing greenhouse emissions and negative environmental impact has led her to formulate a carbon-neutral production process that ensures that waste conversion allows for zero waste.
Thara is an alumnus of the Founders Institute, the Savvy Fellowship, and the WIA Honoris Academy.
